Opening an Account for a Kid or Teen? Now You Can Apply Online
Help your child learn about savings and interest with an Early Saver youth savings account. Now you can complete, sign and submit the application online.
Youth who live, work, or attend school in Washington state, or are affiliated with Boeing, are eligible for BECU membership. We recently added an online application option for Early Saver accounts. Now parents, guardians and custodians can open an account for the kids in their lives at becu.org.
Applying for an Early Saver Account Online
- Visit our Early Saver page.
- In the banner, select the type of youth savings account you want to open for the child.
- Select Get Started.
- You will be directed to the Early Saver online application.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
- Sign and submit with Docusign®. Signers must be 18 years of age or older to sign Docusign® forms.

Open an Early Saver account at any BECU location, through Video Banking, or by completing the application form and returning it to BECU.Requirements
To apply for an Early Saver account, you'll need:
- The child's Social Security number (required for their identification).
- The child's current picture identification (if available).
- A current picture identification for you —the child's parent, guardian or custodian.
Early Saver Account Benefits
Early Saver accounts earn a premium interest rate on the first $500 in deposits, plus:
