Empowering Communities Through Food Access

Share

The BECU Foundation has partnered with PCC Community Markets and Harvest Against Hunger to help strengthen our local food safety net for neighbors in need. The BECU Foundation and PCC Community Markets have both committed $50,000 and we encourage you to join us.

Visits to food banks and pantries have surged more than 70% since 2019, while funding and donations decline. Demand is anticipated by an additional 30% to 40% in the coming weeks.

BECU is committed to building stronger communities, and ensuring more neighbors have access to fresh, nourishing food is just one part of how we show up. Money raised for Harvest Against Hunger helps organizations buy fresh, nutrient-rich food at wholesale prices, stretching resources to serve more of our neighbors.
