Join BECU at Dining Out For Life

Dine out at Seattle restaurants on Thursday, April 26, and support this worthy AIDS-services fundraiser event.

BECU is pleased once again to be the presenting sponsor of Dining Out For Life hosted by Lifelong, and their "food as medicine" program Chicken Soup Brigade. Dozens of local restaurants are contributing a large percentage - some up to 100%! - of their day's earnings to the cause.

The Dining Out For Life fundraising program has been in existence for 27 years, and continues as part of a national fundraising event raising money for AIDS service organizations around the country. In 2017, Dining Out For Life raised $175,000 for HIV care and prevention services here in Seattle. What's more, in 2017, Lifelong fed over 1,800 individuals by providing 41,000 bags of groceries and 180,000 nutritious meals to those in need.

It's made possible only by the generous participation and support of local restaurants that donate a portion of their earnings from the day of the event. This fundraiser certainly doesn't work without those of us who patronize participating restaurants to take part in this incredible community tradition.

By dining out on April 26, you'll be joining individuals like you helping to raise a glass and raise funds for a local non-profit. BECU staffers will be out on the town snapping photos and celebrating members raising funds for a great cause.
