Membership with BECU truly makes all the difference. When you become a member, you join a group of people who care about their community and neighbors and do their best to help them succeed. BECU is happy to provide the following services at the Woodinville location:
- ATM deposits/withdrawals
- Cashier's checks
- New accounts
- Home equity signings
- Account inquiries
BECU is different than a bank, because we aren't a bank. We're a credit union, so we don't answer to stockholders. Instead, we answer to, you, our members. We don't issue stock, and we don't issue dividends like larger banks. We're a financial cooperative institution with over 990,000 members. BECU also offers very competitive credit card rates for members.
We offer higher interest rates on our checking and savings accounts so your money works harder for you. There's no minimum balance, no monthly maintenance fee, and as a BECU member, you'll get free online banking (for members over the age of 13) and bill pay. BECU is guided by the philosophy of “people helping people”. We're a member-owned, not-for-profit cooperative, and of course, we're an equal housing opportunity lender and federally insured by NCUA.
Demographic diversity and member education are two key elements in our service to members. We at BECU are committed to encouraging and strengthening our members' financial education and literacy, even those who are not BECU members. We strive to educate the public about the differences between banks and credit unions, and the benefits of credit unions, as well as our values and philosophy. We do all this while bringing people of diverse backgrounds, experience, and skills into leadership positions and other roles at our institution.
Our goal is to improve the social and economic well-being of our members, and in return, give them valuable financial guidance, advice, and services. We want your experience at BECU to be of the best value and service with complete trust. Come visit us in Woodinville today.
