This California Privacy Request Form (Form) ONLY applies to a resident of the State of California (California Consumer) for Personal Information that Boeing Employees' Credit Union (BECU or we) has about the California Consumer (CCPA Personal Information).

The information that you provide on this Form is necessary for us to process your request to exercise your privacy rights (Privacy Right Request).

To protect your privacy, we will (when permitted by law) verify your identity or the identity of your authorized agent (if you choose to appoint one) before acting on a Privacy Right Request. PLEASE promptly provide us with the additional information we request as part of our verification process. PLEASE DO NOT send any sensitive information, such as social security number or government ID, in response to our additional information request (if applicable).

If we are unable to verify your identity after using reasonable efforts, we may deny your Privacy Right Request (when permitted by law). Please see Section IV of the California Consumer Privacy Notice for details.

To appoint an agent to exercise your privacy rights, we require a completed California Privacy Authorized Agent Form or a power of attorney that complies with California Probate Code Sections 4121 to 4130 (POA). Please see Section IV.D of the California Consumer Privacy Notice for more details.

What happens next?

If your Privacy Right Request is valid, we will acknowledge it in writing. If your request is valid but we are unable to sufficiently verify your identity, we will advise you of this and request additional information. After BECU has all the information needed to act on your Privacy Right Request, we will respond within the time period permitted or required by applicable law. If you have sent us an invalid request (e.g., without proof or context), we will respond to your request and advise you on why your request was invalid and/or rejected.

Proper authentication is critical to protect your personal information. You may be required to provide proof of identity before your request is fulfilled. We will respond consistent with applicable laws. For all submissions, we will respond to your request within 10 business days and complete your request within 45 days. If your request requires more time to complete, we will contact you with an explanation and next steps.
