BECU offers two incredibly special benefits in the hiring landscape: an Employee Loan Discount Program and a pension program.
The Employee Loan Discount Program offers employees up to 1% off the rate on qualifying loans and credit cards. This makes a huge difference over the life of a loan. For example: If you have a $25,000 auto loan with a 72 month term, the discount equates to almost $1,000. (The standard APR rate of 5.34% results in $4,278 in interest, while the adjusted APR of 4.34% rate is just $3,326.) The discounted interest rate allows you to either have a lower monthly payment or pay the loan off early.
