BECU interns bring a fresh perspective to our organization—not just fresh coffee to their managers. As a member of the BECU Summer Intern Program, you'll have an active role as part of a BECU team and learn how service strengthens communities. Take a deep dive into your area of interest and get a broad view of the organization through job shadowing, Lunch & Learns with executives and senior leaders as well as projects that offer real-world work experience as well as participating in a group community service project together with other BECU teams. At BECU, you're more than an intern; you're gaining meaningful career experience while learning what it means to live our values.
“Right from the get-go I was given a great amount of responsibility on various projects. I could come up with my own approach to each project and share what I thought would be best.”
-Sophia L., Business Development/Community Sales Intern
“The highlight of my internship would have to be all of my job shadow meetings with coworkers throughout the company. Each one hour meeting left me feeling better informed about financial institutions, economics and a career in finance as a whole.”
-Cole J., Compliance Intern
“I really love the weekly Lunch & Learn sessions with all my fellow Interns. It's a great experience to speak with BECU's executives and hear their stories.”
-Austin I., IT Business Services Intern
“I love my internship because it has given me the flexibility to work on a wide range of projects. I have measured new hire progress, created reports on survey responses and participated in fun events!”
-Gretchen W., Retail Experience Support Intern
