Free Shred Event on 9/10 - South Carolina
BECU is excited to announce its inaugural Shred Event at the Boeing South Carolina Welcome Center. The event will take place on Saturday, Sept. 10 from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. (or until the trucks are full.

The Shred Event is a popular community activity and tradition at BECU, a chance for members to meet, greet and safely recycle. While on site, you'll also have a chance to give back to the community by donating non-perishable food items, which will go to the Lowcountry Food Bank.
Bring up to three grocery bags or two banker boxes of documents to shred. BECU employees will be on-site to help visitors.

Paper documents are a common source of identity theft. By shredding sensitive documents, you can reduce your risk of being targeted for fraud or theft. You'll also meet like-minded people who are part of the BECU community!
