BECU Housing Stability Grants

Meet our 2023 award recipients!

The Housing Stability Grant is the BECU Foundation's first grant focused on housing security.

In 2021, the Washington State Legislature passed Section 6 of House 1277, a measure created to address the challenges of affordable housing, housing stability and homeless in Washington State. The BECU Foundation responded by creating a new grant program awarding $100,000 in funding to eight nonprofit organizations focused on preventing homelessness and combatting the hardships that cause a family or individual to lose their permanent housing.

In 2023, the Foundation increased its support to $109,375 for each organization, listed below.

Congratulations to these nonprofits that are challenging housing instability in our communities!
