Business Membership Eligibility

Eligibility Requirements

  • Washington state: business owners operating in all counties
  • Oregon: business owners operating in Benton, Clackamas, Columbia, Lane, Linn, Marion, Multnomah, Polk, Washington, or Yamhill counties
  • Idaho: business owners operating in Benewah, Bonner, Boundary, Clearwater, Idaho, Kootenai, Latah, Lewis, Nez Perce, or Shoshone counties

  • The Boeing Company occupational groups, enterprises, and organizations.
  • Subsidiaries or affiliates currently or previously owned or operated in whole or in part by The Boeing Company

Businesses, enterprises and organizations where more than half of the owners, members, or employees are within BECU's field of membership

  • Credit Union Service Organizations (CUSO) located anywhere in the US
  • NW Credit Union Foundation member association groups, enterprises, or organizations
  • University of Washington Alumni Association member association groups, enterprises, or organizations
  • Washington State University Alumni Association member association groups, enterprises, or organizations
  • KEXP donor/member, employee, volunteer, or retiree

Although the following business types may be within our field of membership provided above, BECU does not currently open accounts for, or extend membership to:

  • Internet gambling
  • Marijuana dispensaries
  • Money-services (payday loans, check cashing, etc.)

Requirements to Get Started

Becoming a business member is as simple as making an appointment with a Business Consultant or joining in person at your nearest Neighborhood Financial Center.

  • Business Membership Application
  • Personal Identification
  • Business Tax ID (or EIN or SSN)
  • UBI Number (refer to your business license)
  • NAICS code (locate your NAICS code)
