BECU is a cooperative society organized under Washington law as a nonprofit corporation. BECU promotes thrift among its members and creates a source of credit for them at fair and reasonable rates of interest. BECU is dedicated to "people helping people" and will strive to serve as many individuals as possible by providing superior financial products and services.
In 2002 the Securities and Exchange Commission began requiring large publicly traded companies to certify their firm's financial statements. Although BECU does not fall under this ruling, our CEO and CFO certify the accuracy of our financial statements and voluntarily present them here for your review:
