About BECU Rate Feeds

Want to know when a rate goes up or down? When you subscribe to BECU’s rate feed, you can get updates when and how you choose via RSS.

What’s RSS?

RSS, or Really Simple Syndication, is a format for receiving news, rates and other web content. When you subscribe to a BECU rate feed, the information is published and presented to you in your reader of choice. This way you may be notified of changes to BECU rates automatically.

How do I subscribe?

When you click on the subscribe link, most web browsers will give you the option to add it to a web-based reader (also known as an aggregator), or allow you to choose a reader application you have on your hard drive. You can also add the feed to a reader manually by adding the URL from within your reader.

Common web-based readers are Google Reader, Bloglines, and MyYahoo. You can sign up for a reader account at any of these sites. If you prefer to use a reader application on your computer, some common readers are Feed Demon, Sharp Reader, and NewsGator (an Outlook plugin) for Windows; NetNewsWire and Shrook for Macs.
