Every year the BECU Foundation benefits from the generosity of BECU members and supporting organizations. With your help, we’re able to ensure the viability and growth of the Foundation and provide funding for additional scholarships.

Apply for a Scholarship

Applications are available online and at BECU locations beginning January 1. Applications are accepted January 1- March 31 each year. We will announce recipients by May 31.

Eligibility

• Only BECU members may apply
• Applicants must be students with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Students must be a graduating high school senior or a full-time undergraduate
• Previous recipients may not apply for additional scholarships

Selection criteria

Scholarships are awarded based on a student’s academic performance and passion for helping others. Applicants are required to submit their hours of community service, grade point average, and letters of recommendation. Selection is made without regard to applicant's race, color, national origin, religious belief, sex, marital status, age, or physical handicap.
