Career Development Opportunities

Projects: BECU managers work with employees to connect them with projects of interest.

Education Reimbursement: Qualified employees are reimbursed for approved courses and seminars upon satisfactory completion. Employees can choose to enroll in continuing education opportunities in areas pertaining to their career path.

Job Shadowing: BECU employees who express an interest in job shadowing in various areas of the Credit Union are able to do so with management approval.

  • Information Technology: Develops a technical infrastructure through IT Operations, Network and Security, Systems Department, Planning & Implementation, ATM Support.
  • Investment Services: Investment guidance through our relationship with LPL Financial.
  • Member Operations/Lending: Development, service, and recovery functions for loan products and services.
  • Member Strategies: Includes product development and management; research and financial analysis.
  • Marketing: Includes brand, retail and channel marketing strategies, and creative development.
  • Community Relations: Includes Community outreach and giving strategies; education and public relations.
  • Member Solutions: Customer service in-person, by telephone, and online—plus servicing deposit and loan accounts.
  • BECU Trust Company: Investment management services including trusts, asset management, and serving as Trustee.
  • Prime Alliance Mortgage: Prime Alliance Solutions, Inc. provides mortgage loan technology and business solutions for mortgage lending.
  • Legal and Governmental Affairs: Advises business units on regulatory compliance; recovers collateral on defaulted loans; influences state and federal legislatures on laws affecting credit unions.
